Reichsbank
La Reichsbank est la banque centrale de l'Allemagne de 1876 à 1945. Fondée le 1er janvier 1876 (peu après la création de l'Empire allemand en 1871), elle était détenue par une société privée de Prusse, mais étroitement surveillée par le gouvernement du Reich. Son premier président fut Hermann von Dechend.
The Reichsbank was the central bank of Germany from 1876 to 1945. It was founded on January 1, 1876 (shortly after the creation of the German Empire in 1871), but was privately owned by Prussia but closely monitored by the government of the Reich. His first president was Hermann von Dechend.

Il existe plusieurs variétés de ce billet 100 mark 1908:
une étant de la période impériale et l'autre des premières années de la République de Weimar (1918-1922).
La principale caractéristique qui différencie ces deux versions, et la couleur des sceaux.
Un sceau rouge est de l'Allemagne impériale, et le sceau vert est d’impression d'après-guerre.
Ces deux billets sont bleu foncé sur fond bleu clair. La première variété (Pick33) contient également deux variétés, une avec un numéro de série long (29mm)(Pick33a) et une autre avec un numéro de série court (24mm)(Pick33b) (plus rare)
There are several varieties of this ticket 100 mark 1908:
one being from the imperial period and the other from the early years of the Weimar Republic (1918-1922).
The main feature that differentiates these two versions, and the color of the seals.
A red seal is from Imperial Germany, and the green seal is post-war print.
These two notes are dark blue on a light blue background. The first variety (Pick33) also contains two varieties, one with a long serial number (29mm) (Pick33a) and another with a short serial number (24mm) (Pick33b) (rarer).

Le 30 août 1924, le papiermark, totalement dévalué durant les années 1922 et 1923 en raison de l'hyperinflation, fut remplacé par une nouvelle unité monétaire appelée le reichsmark.
Le Reichsmark ( mark du Reich ) fut de 1924 à 1948 l'unité monétaire officielle de la République de Weimar (1924-1933), du Troisième Reich (1933-1945) puis de l'Allemagne occupée par les forces alliées (1945-1948).
L'impression "Kreuz-Iris" a été utilisé jusqu'en 1940/1941. Plus tard, pendant la Seconde Guerre mondiale, elle a été abandonnée.
C’est une technique spéciale pour la transition des couleurs dans la sous-impression et pas facilement représentable sur un scan ou une photo.
On August 30, 1924, the paper money, completely devalued during the years 1922 and 1923 due to hyperinflation, was replaced by a new monetary unit called the reichsmark.
